EVENT PLANNER / COORDINATOR: An event or wedding planner is responsible for planning the wedding or event. Their duties include, but are not limited too, being an event designer and day of coordinator. Planning implies a full logistical process of careful preparation. * Rockin M specifics here
EVENT DESIGNER: An event designer is responsible for creating the aesthetic design and vision for the wedding. A designer has an artistic eye that allows them to visualize the whole event and truly transform a space.
They are responsible for developing the design plan, and for overseeing the development of all creative content and the entire creative process itself. It includes creating floor plans, lighting design, floral arrangements, furniture, linens and the color palette. It does not include things like contract negotiations or attending appointments alongside the bride. * Rockin M specifics here
DAY-OF WEDDING COORDINATOR: A day-of wedding coordinator is not responsible for planning the wedding. Instead, they’re merely responsible for executing details that have already been previously planned. They perform the task of directing the ceremony and/or logistics on the wedding day. They have no role prior to the wedding day other than to learn the details that have been planned for them to execute. * Rockin M specifics here

Custom event website creation.
Our in-house graphic designer, Marlee, can create beautiful custom stationery and paper elements, if desired. She can design and print your invitations, create custom table numbers, design your placecards, create a unique and custom Welcome sign and any additional signage needed.
We also offer calligraphy services. Melanie has been hand addressing invitations using beautiful calligraphy for many years.

EVENT PLANNER / COORDINATOR:
We are capable of all aspects of planning and selecting the details for your wedding or event. We will assist you in developing the overall aesthetic for your event. We can plan and execute your entire wedding weekend – from the rehearsal dinner, to your wedding and reception. Your event will have a cohesive, stylish and sophisticated look. We want to take away the stress of planning and executing your wedding or event. As your event planner we can be involved as little or as much as you desire.
Duties include:
- Creation and management of your wedding budget.
- Vendor referral, and later management of your vendor contacts, contracts, appointments, and payment schedule.
We will research and compile a list of trusted vendors whom we believe will achieve your dream wedding within your allotted budget. We will set all appointments, attend all meetings, and manage all communication with these vendors.

- Coordinate and finalize “The Big Day” timeline for all wedding party guests.
- Coordinate and finalize “The Big Day” timeline to all vendors.
- We will be the “go-to” for vendors and wedding party questions.
- Greet and assist all vendors with their proper set-up location and instructions.
- Assist in setting up the ceremony and reception decor – make sure the tables & chairs are arranged as required, dress tables with linens, candles, flower arrangements, centerpieces, place cards, guest book, gift table, programs, menu cards, photographs, etc.
- Distribute corsages, boutonnieres and bouquets.
- Manage the timing of the day’s events for the bride & groom, wedding party, family and vendors.
- Gather family & wedding party for formal photographs to maximize photographers time.
- Review seating assignments with the ushers.
- Light all candles and ensure all last-minute touches are completed.
- Round up, line up & cue the wedding party when it is time to walk down the aisle.
- Appropriately cue the ceremony musicians.
- Move any ceremony decor to the reception area.
- Appropriately cue you through the grand entrance, toasts, cake cutting, first dance, other dances, garter / bouquet toss, and send off.
- Ensure all vendors complete all obligations before exiting and disburse their final payments and gratuities.
- Collect wedding gifts, guest book, personal photographs, and other personal decor items.
- Collect and return any rental items.
- Farewell brunch coordination. We can arrange catering or food delivery. We can set up table decor including linens, flowers, candles, place cards, etc.
